How Trategy works.

Multi-Filter Signal Logic

Signals are only generated when four conditions align at the same time: trend direction, momentum state, entry trigger, and volatility level. Each filter has to confirm before an arrow appears.

Trend-Based Entries

Three Exponential Moving Averages define trend direction. Signals only fire when all EMAs are stacked in the same direction and price is aligned with them. Counter-trend setups are filtered out.

Precise Entry Timing

The MACD crossover serves as the final trigger. It only activates when the EMA trend and RSI momentum conditions are already confirmed. This defines the exact bar where the signal prints.

Dynamic Risk Management

Take Profit and Stop Loss levels are calculated from the 14-period ATR. The multipliers adjust automatically based on the selected timeframe, so levels scale with current market volatility.

Timeframe-Adaptive

The indicator works on any timeframe but is specifically optimized for 5-minute and 4-hour charts. ATR-based TP/SL multipliers adapt automatically to match the chosen timeframe's typical range.

Built-in Alerts

Every signal can trigger a TradingView alert. You can configure notifications via pop-up, email, or mobile push, so the chart doesn't need to stay open to catch new setups.

How you get access.

Access to Trategy is granted manually to make sure every user gets a proper setup. Here's exactly what happens from checkout to your first signal on the chart.

Frequently asked
questions.

Single indicators often produce false signals because they only measure one dimension of the market — trend OR momentum OR volatility. When several indicators have to confirm each other before a signal fires, low-probability setups get filtered out. The tradeoff: fewer signals, but each one meets stricter conditions.
Indicators are tools, not oracles. They can't predict the market, but they help structure decisions based on data rather than emotion. A good indicator gives you objective conditions to evaluate setups — but you still need your own risk management and discipline. Anyone promising guaranteed results is selling hype, not tools.
Leading indicators (like RSI) try to anticipate moves by measuring momentum or overbought/oversold conditions. Lagging indicators (like EMAs or MACD) confirm moves that are already happening. Both have weaknesses on their own — leading ones generate false signals early, lagging ones enter late. Trategy combines both so they filter each other's weaknesses.
Both have their place. Technical analysis gives you timing and structure — where to enter, where to exit, where to place stops. Fundamentals give you context — why a market might move. Many traders combine the two: they use fundamentals to decide what to trade and technicals to decide when. Trategy focuses purely on the technical side.
The individual components (EMAs, RSI, MACD, ATR) are all free and public. What Trategy adds is the specific combination logic — the thresholds, the order in which filters have to confirm, and the ATR-based risk management that adapts to the selected timeframe. The value is in the integration, not the individual parts.
No, a free TradingView account is enough to use Trategy on your charts. You'll only need a paid plan if you want to set up custom alerts (TradingView's Free plan limits the number of active alerts). Everything else — viewing signals, adjusting parameters, using the indicator — works on any account.
The source code is protected, since Trategy is an invite-only indicator — so direct modification isn't possible. However, all the main parameters (EMA lengths, RSI thresholds, ATR multipliers) can be adjusted directly from the settings panel. If you have suggestions for how the indicator could be improved, feel free to reach out — I'm always happy to hear feedback and discuss ideas at no cost.
Monthly access gives you the indicator plus all updates for as long as your subscription is active — flexible if you want to test it before committing. Lifetime access is a one-time payment that gives you permanent access and includes all future updates and improvements. Both options grant the same access to the indicator itself.
